The Samsung D900i Metallic Silver mobile phone is a boldly-coloured version of a phone that already stands out, thanks to its ultra-slim 13mm depth. Now the problem is that the silver coating comes off quickly and the phone starts to look ugly very soon. I had the black SGH-D900i which unfortunately got wet and died. Then i bought the silver one.
It may not be able to compete with the iPhone. Plain and simple. Its a great, affordable, sleek, thin, phone that is awesome.
There are probably better phones out there now, I mean this phone came out in 2006, but its still a great phone. I've had my phone for almost a year now and have not only dropped it multiple times but once even in a parking lot where it slid on the concrete about 2 or 3 feet (FACE DOWN) and I still to this day have no scratches on my screen. Yeah for the price I paid ($230 at the time) its an amazing phone.
And I don't use a screen protector or anything. but for the price, it does what it CAN do very well. The features on it are great, Music(MP3), Video, pretty awesome Photos(3mp), and the call quality is great.
I don't know what the other guy is talking about how the screen is getting scratched.
My (very) old cell got much better coverage. Also I think it has poor reception. Infinitely scratchable screen. Have had it for 6 months, looks terrible.
